Jaquet Droz Stone/Mineral Dial (made of the actual stone, Heart of Ruby) - Limited Edition of 8
42.5mm white gold case
Dial: Heart of Ruby -- rather than a polished and faceted gem, Jaquet Droz uses a single slice of the stone as the watch's dial itself. Absolutely unbelievable. Watch looks different at different angles, pretty amazing.
Box: Yes (box has the matching serial number imprinted as the watch)
Papers: Yes

Strap: Droz signed strap
Buckle: Droz signed white gold tang buckle
My thoughts on the watch: a work of art. To make a dial out of the center of a huge ruby stone is unique in a world of very few truly unique watches.

Back from Geneva and wearing this today. I had to shoot a video so
dressed up a bit and thought the Jaquet Droz Paillonee would do the trick. This is a very interesting watch. The dial is a blue enamel (or lacquer?) over a guilloche dial as the base. You can see it in one of the photos by looking at the left side of the watch in the light. The gold leaf “Paillons”
