I am selling this rare, 18K White Gold Pre-Montblanc Minerva Villeret 1858, before the price multiplied when Montblanc acquired Minerva.

Key features:

- Model: Minerva Villeret 1858 (Emilio Gnutti period)

- Case: 18K white gold

- Diameter: 41 mm

- Thickness: 12,65 mm

- Weight: An approximate heavy 113 gr of the watch alone, without the bracelet and buckle

- Beautifully worked, rounded shaped watch case marked with 4 hallmarks

- Original Minerva crocodile leather strap

- pin buckle, hallmarked

- Dial: light gray and anthracite gray,

- Blued hands

- White gold crown with enamel insert of the Minerva logo

- Very thick sapphire glass cut in a block of sapphire, rare and very honorable process. A unique and very expensive production process

- Movement cover in officer-type white gold, with a unique opening mechanism by pressing the wristband

- Movement of a very high level of finishing.

The watch is in Immaculate condition as it was only sitting on my wrist in my room and has never seen the outside.

Sold with non-original box and sales certificate from the previous owner.

THE ENGRAVED MODEL, CASE & MOVEMENT NUMBERS HAVE BEEN CERTIFYING THE AUTHENTICITY OF THE WATCH AND  (AND CAN ANYTIME) BE VERIFIED WITH MONTBLANC.

You can find few articles on the web that describes the incredible level of care and traditional workmanship that was put in the Villeret 1858 series. I do not know the volume of production for these models, but it is rather limited. Selling price of the time: more than 30,000 CHF.
