Omega Chronometre

S: OMEGA "Chronometre" - the serial number dates it to 1946. This is the famous Omega Chronometre that won so many awards in timing competitions. It is the more desirable larger size, 35.5 mm. 18k rose gold, and serviced within the last two years. This superb watch is in "Excellent to NM" condition based on TZ system. This watch comes with two dials: the one mounted on the watch was a redial done in Germany last year and is simply superb in every detail. The other dial that comes with the watch is either original or an older very fine redial. I have shown it to two vintage experts and one was quite sure it was original and the other was inconclusive. I do not represent it as original but it certainly could be - I will leave that to you. But you get two dials for this fine watch. There is also an 18k rose gold buckle, an original 18k rose gold Omega crown, and a vintage LeCoultre alligator strap. This watch has it all: the desirable larger size, 18k rose gold, fully serviced, 18k gold buckle.....simply a great timepiece for your collection.
