Description

For sale my Omega Seamaster 300, ref. 165.024.  Manufactured in 1968 (see Omega extract and catalogues of the time), it is in more than excellent conditions.   Bezel, dial and hands are NOS   (not recent furniture, original tritium parts from the time, never used).     Bracelet is an Omega  1506 which was originally mounted on the watch, with all the elastic links well working. A SM300 like this is impossible to find - even the crown is the original Naiad with the “tight legs logo”.   Price is GBP 4600, payment by GBP bank wire, insured courier is included.   Please mail me for many more details and pictures.  Perhaps you want also look at my other two offers which are also beauties.

Old man and the sea part 2 - trying to sort my son’s fishing equipment 🎣
Fishing in the East provided a successful, efficient experience where the son caught tons of fish quickly. Trying Mediterranean fishing was less successful, resulting in no catch. The Omega Seamaster 1948 watch remained unaffected.

My Grandfather's Watch
Vintage watch in need of repair left with local expert after failed service attempt by father, now deceased. Trust restored authenticity to be sourced, but other parts may not be restored. Watchmaker taking time. Two other watches out for service.

Dials for the Melbourne Olympic Seamaster ref OT 2850
Variants of SM Olympic dials include rare XVI dial with pearl dots in yellow gold, most have a brass plate. Some dials may have rings with uniquely colored areas; accuracy debatable.

LeCoultre booklets
Seeking information on rare booklets that came with certain vintage LeCoultre watches. Requesting photos, scans, and sizes for personal database. Acknowledges limited knowledge on topic, but hopeful for responses.
