Description

Hi,

Thinking of potentially trading my Patek Philippe 5010G. Just serviced at an authorized Patek service center (Kerns Jewelers in Burlingame, CA). Service was almost $1,200.

Have original box and Extracts from the Archive. Would come complete with original Patek alligator strap and custom $600 hand stitched Camille Fournet alligator strap.

Looking for even trade or very slightly up. Trade value $9,000 US.

📖 About This Reference

The Patek Philippe reference 5010 is a rectangular cased timepiece, part of a series of watches that share the manually wound caliber 215. This reference is often discussed alongside other similar models like the 5009 and 5024, all characterized by their classic, understated design and shared movement architecture. It represents a segment of Patek Philippe's production focused on traditional dress watches with a distinct, non-round case profile. This reference features a rectangular case, typically executed in precious metals. It houses the Patek Philippe caliber 215, a manually wound movement known for its slim profile and reliability. The crystal protecting the dial is generally sapphire, offering clarity and scratch resistance. The design emphasizes clean lines and a refined aesthetic, consistent with Patek Philippe's approach to its more formal timepieces. For collectors, the reference 5010 appeals to those who appreciate Patek Philippe's rectangular case designs and the heritage of the caliber 215. It offers an alternative to the more common round cases, providing a distinctive silhouette while maintaining the brand's high standards of watchmaking. Its place within a family of closely related references makes it an interesting study for enthusiasts of the brand's historical output.

CASINO WIN PATEK 5010
Hello all, Years ago I already had my 5107G and I had a slight win at the casino. I wanted a watch to celebrate. I bought a 5010 from a dealer friend. The piece was nice but slightly too small for me. I don't think the strap was original - no offence meant in the pics. A nice piece otherwise. I wish
