Description

For sale is a Rolex Submariner 14060M.  This is a random serial watch and one of the last of the 5 digit reference classic no-date Submariner made.  Watch is 100% unpolished and in like new condition. It’s running and winding perfect; case is razor sharp. Watch comes complete boxes, booklets, tag and warranty card.  I am in Los Angeles, and local face to face inspection/transaction is very welcome. Plenty of solid references available upon request. Asking $6950 plus shipping/insurance or pick up.  Please contact me if you have questions. No trade and all lowball offers will be politely ignored. Thank you.

📖 About This Reference

The Rolex Submariner reference 14060 represents a transitional period for the brand's professional dive watch line. It is notable for being a no-date Submariner, maintaining a clean dial aesthetic favored by many collectors. This reference succeeded earlier no-date Submariners and preceded later iterations with updated movements and materials, positioning it as a bridge between vintage and modern Rolex production. This reference features a 40mm stainless steel Oyster case, characteristic of the Submariner line. It is equipped with the automatic caliber 3000 movement, providing a power reserve of approximately 42 hours. The watch utilizes a sapphire crystal, offering enhanced scratch resistance, and is water-resistant to 300 meters. The unidirectional rotating bezel is fitted with an aluminum insert. The 14060 appeals to collectors seeking a Submariner without the date complication and its associated cyclops lens. It is recognized for its robust construction and functional design. While sharing many characteristics with its date-equipped counterparts, the absence of a date window distinguishes it within the Submariner family and contributes to its distinct collector appeal.

Just parted with my Sub
The author sold their Rolex 114060 Submariner because of its bulky fit on their wrist. They prefer the idea of the watch over wearing it daily. No regrets, with plans to potentially get the 14060 model later.

It’s over..
I had fantasized about wearing a sub for the past couple of years. It was an itch that needed to be scratched. One could say that the sub is the porsche 911 of watches. At some point, I would need to experience one. Just as I think that anyone who’s deep into this madness needs to at least experienc

A contagious box 📦 arrived today 😱
This has haunted me since reading Joe’s reports on identifying future classics... Finding one in the US is not easy and I’ve no confidence getting one from overseas, cannot imagine the difficulty in dealing if the transaction or watch has issues. This is also my first transaction through the famous
