I purchased this for my wife who has since shared my similar loss in horological interest.

Halter presented his personal vision of a three hand classical dress watch. A steampunk UFO straight out of the whirlwinding imagination of Jules Verne or H.G. Wells, the Classic features a bezel with rivets on each hour marker inspired by the portholes of Captain Nemo’s Nautilus. The dial gleams in its architectural beauty, it is multileveled with an elegant mix of frosted and polished surfaces. The whole topped with flame blued hands.

The automatic movement features an ingenious sapphire central rotor enabling a full view of the movement.

It is important to note that every component on the dial, case and hands has been hand finished by Vianney Halter in his workshops in St Imier, Switzerland.

The Classic was made in a total of 250 pieces in pink, yellow and white gold with different dial variants.

This example features a white gold case, rose gold rivets and crown, a salmon dial, original croco strap and tang buckle.  This comes with accompanying box and papers.

The watch requires servicing for which a quote of 2.5k francs has been obtained from Vianney.  This will be factored into the sale price.

I’m not good with the camera, I didn’t bother wiping the dust off my watches but they are very honest, non-photoshopped pics.

The watch and I are located in Singapore and a local in person exchange is preferred.  For international sales, you may opt for shipping method at your own risk and cost.  Payment to be made by PayNow or bank transfer and pricing is in Singapore dollars.

A similar classic closed recently at Sotheby’s Hong Kong on 26 April 2022 for approx. SGD $106,000 before buyer’s premium.
