It is one of these wonderful rectangular cases from Patek, along with the 5100 and the 5500 ( also called Pagoda ). Deliciously cambered, the platinum case is something to see in real life to fully appreciate it. The proportions are perfect in my opinion, for a watch of this kind: 54 mm long, 25 mm large...Story

Indeed, there are no new references in this kind of complications, but long awaited dial and metal variations for at least two references, the 5230, which comes with a platinum case, and the 5231 which is now offered in white gold. lavrentivsIntroduced in 2010, the CHR 27-525 PS movement in this reference is a marvel of engineering being only 5.25 mm in height. This is all the more impressive considering it incorporates spilt seconds functionality. On top of this, it is a monopusher design with the pusher coaxial with the crown. Patek Philippe’s manual winding chronographs have always been special but this one dials it up to an eleven and to my mind, is one of the most beautiful chronographs made from any manufacturer...Story

FabRIf Patek limited editions are reasonably rare, and unique versions produced for special collectors are (in modern times) even more exceptional, titanium pieces appear to be among the most exclusive and prestigious of the entire Patek production.
