Baselworld 2015: fireworks of videos

Please find below my usual fireworks of videos taken during the crazy week at Basel... because sometimes a video is better than thousand words to understand how a watch works or what is the magic behind it.

Let's enter the Hall and start the show!

What about an erotic watch by Andersen Geneve to start the selection in order to get your full interest for those which will follow? And if it is not clear enough on the video, I can confirm it: even the tongue of the dog moves!

One of my fav of the Fair, the great Angelus Tourbillon Lumière U10. I love the contrast between the behaviour of the Tourbillon and the dead beat second hand:

It was impossible to miss a new version of the Artya Roulette from my friend Yvan Arpa:

Another mesmerizing watch with the Cabestan Triple Axis Tourbillon. Triple Axis yes but do you notice the speed of the Tourbillon? Really impressive!

Christophe Claret is back with one of the complications he perfectly masters: the Minute Repeater. Here is the Allegro!

The Girard-Perregaux Tourbillon Minute Repeater is a very convincing watch thanks to its beauty and the quality of its sound. The mechanism was developed with MHC:

Wake up! Here is the Hublot Big Bang Alarm Repeater! I appreciate the addition of this complication in the Big Bang collection.

The Jacob & Co Astronomia Tourbillon Watch belongs to the category of watches from a different planet. And only a movie can depict its power of seduction.

I propose you now 3 videos from Jaquet Droz. 3 watches... but 3 different reasons to display them!

The Charming Bird makes us think about the Birds Musical Boxes...

The Lady 8 Flower plays in the sphere of charm:

The very good surprise is the Large Dead Beat Second Hand (Grande Seconde Morte). The watch takes advantage of the dial lay-out. A fascinating watch.

Kerbedanz is a brand which gathers a lot of craftsmen and artisans in its organization. Each and every Kerbedanz watch tells a story like this Minute Repeater.

The Louis Moinet Memoris Chronograph is a watch which puts the chronograph function under the main spotlight. The outcome is spectacular.

Another UFO... or a strange machine! The TimeBurner by Miki Eleta an Marc Jenni works like a piston!

I would like to end this selection with two Nord Zeitmaschine in order that you understand how the timedisplays work.

The Quickindicator:

The Variocurve:

The selection is now over, I hope you enjoyed it! I could add some more movies but I was not convinced by their quality so I prefer to not put them online.

I would like to thank all the brands and watchmakers for their availability during the Fair.
