Horological Meandering

Congrats on the watch, unfortunately...

 

I also  picked up a Bell & Ross last friday from my AD here in los angeles.  I was going to place an order for the new phantom since he had one more allocation but trying on a 46mm is way too big on my small wrist.  My AD had just got in a BR-03 in PVD and I fell in love with it right away.  After taking home and wearing it for about 4 hours the chrono function didn't work and locked up the entire mechanism.  It would only run the chrono for 36 seconds and then stop.  I kept restarting it for a few hours and then gave up.  Went back the next day and they called the rep for B&R and they are supposed to send a new replacement on monday.  The watch itself looks incredible and they did a good job but the velcro strap looks cheap IMHO.  Interesting fact is that my AD moves alot of B&R's and this is the first return as he is happy with the line.  I'm going to post when I get the replacement and let you guys know what happens.  Anyway, I am glad you are enjoying yours, wear it in the best of health!

The front is distinctive enough but the case back is like nothing I've ever seen.

Once u go big, u can't go back! I just love the "DO NOT UNSCREW" inscription on the caseback. It goes against man's instinctive behavior. Cheers, Anthony

Recently took the dive. Being a big Panerai fan I had some hesitation. Not any more. I must say they really sit well on the wrist. I went with the full his hers deal. I Posted some pics earlier....

After losing some sleep, you know this is YOUR watch. I too was looking at this BR but at 46mm it's too big. I'd probably go for the 42mm version in PVD : ) Cogratulations!
