Do you use it, or did you get
it for the "cool factor"? I personally have no use for a chronograph, therefore
have never owned one and probably never will. I have absolutely nothing against
them. For those of you that own them do you use the chronograph function, or did you
get it for the "cool factor"? I can see how one could be useful for many things. I am pretty
much a simple watch guy, time only, time and date, GMT and really not much else.
With so many priorities in life I think once I get the Cartier tank watch that may be the
end of the road for watch purchases for me. To add another after that one it would
have to be something really special.

I have absolutely no practical use for them.
However, like them a lot. Not all of them though, but only those with beautiful movements and transparent backs to see them. Lange, Montblanc Minerva, Lemania 2310 would be perfect examples. Otherwise - I guess people like their sportier look, but hardly ...
Occasional real use so guess mostly for the cool then?
Not like any mechanical watch in this day and age is really very good at its job compared to very cheap alternatives Still like them though so whatever the heart wants i guess.
