Do not shock as i say, the MB F boxes are nicer than the watches.
Buy the watch, only to get the box.
It is hard for PP guys i think to write the truth the PP watch boxes made in huge quantities in an industrial factory somewhere in Asia.
Thinking the boxes are hand crafted in a monumental building somewhere in Geneva.
I saw a Jacob and Co watch box made of moonstone.
These boxes let me think about the MB F watch box art.
The Jacob and Co watch box have a display which show a video how the Astronomia made.
My personal thoughts about boxes is that it is important for me to keep a watch complete.
I never bought a watch without a box.
The quality must be enough wil i store a watch box into my living space like a living room.
I do it with the watch box of my Omega.
This subject i do not red, but what about the smell of a watch box? I snif on the Omega watch box, because it smells so good.
Watch box discoveries. I seen such a great watch boxes over the time, i luv them. For example the Hublot cases with the ship hublot.

Ending my reply, i would never buy a watch because the watch box is beautiful. A watch box is for me only an extra.

Packaging is important! I still save my cookie tins from those famous French and Japanese cookie companies.

You are right my friend! Practically speaking, a box isn't that important.
That Alinghi box is super cool! And it looks exactly like a winch on a sail boat! You should put this winch on a bookshelf where it can be admired (and a functional bookend), not in the back of a closet!

One of my boxes on display in my living room..

There are 4 different versions of Kari's boxes that I've seen, photos posted below. As far as wooden boxes go, I'm unaware of any other brands that provide something at a similar level of craftsmanship, even among the other top-level independents.

Amazing the amount of design that went into them
Usually I dislike boxes but these, they can go on the display shelves. And the watch experience will be poorer if the owners don't have the original boxes.
