Movement appears to be a Martel 156
I haven't opened up the watch, but here is a movement picture from the previous owner:
After looking at my pictures of this watch, had to wind it up and put it one the wrist this morning. For me, the movement maker is not the most important thing - rather, the joy is in the age of the watch, the nice appearance of the dial and case, and the smooth operation of the chrono mechanism.

These Vintage Chronographs are just breathtaking.
I saw several very exciting examples, these last months. Among them, this Tissot, which I believe to house a Lemania 15 TL. Big case ( 38 mm ), superb dial, and excellent movement. What else can you ask? A screw in case back, maybe? Or better, an officer ...

Beautiful dial. Beautiful movement. Beautiful hands. These chronographs of 40's or 50's were very delicious ! You regret that Tissot doesn't make great watches nowadays. It is the same thing with Longines by example. Because the low level of these brands ...

hard not to like that one. Wonderful dial and movement, and maybe the perfect size. Tissot has lost much of its luster over the years, but watches such as this show what it was capable of many years ago. Looking forward to seeing other vintage chronograph...

How about a nice 40s Zenith?
Along with some 1940s half dollar coins... I sometimes wonder about who first bought it, and the chain of caretakers this watch has had up until now. Those three minute marks are perfect for grilling a nice thick steak. I think there was some other reason...
I missed a superb Serbian Army with a dial which turned to khaki brown.
THe only problem with Zenith is that the manual movement Chrono is necessarily outsourced....Bjut there are some cool ones, as the one I missed. Tell me, did Zenith use some Excelsior Park movements for their chronos? I love the Excelsior Park movement! B...

Bought for a song about 10 years ago. I think the price reflected the low level of respect to which the brand had sunk. Don't know what the movement is. The last watchmaker who serviced it didn't recognise it, thought it might be in-house. I doubt it, but...

It is a VERY nice Tissot Chronograph wearing many details you mentioned that make these older chronographs highly appealing without to speak about its superb condition These are very rewarding to own and wear combining strong vintage flavors based on case...
This Lemania is another very nice example, for sure.
