Reference 2486, along with 2471, 2606, and 3944, showcased Omega's cal 381 triple-date moonphase movement . . .
. . . from the late '40s thru mid-'50s. These were designed and manufactured in-house, unrelated to other similar movements common at the time. Not my cup of tea; Andrew D was a fan, though. They're difficult to collect as so many have been re-dialed. Why...

Not much for pointer dates in general . . .
. . . and also not much for calendar indications that have to be manually set every month. As far as I know, Omega has made only one perpetual calendar wristwatch, and that was in the '90s. Art
