Without awakening my wife to the depth of my collection, I have to use existing pictures of the German watches I have owned and loved (some now gone): Glashutte Original Muhle Glashutte Nomos Schauer Sinn Sinn 356 Sinn 456 Sinn 656 black Sinn 756 Sinn 856...  

I got my first german chrono when i was 6 or so (my granddad always had one in the shelf). I would love to add a Lange at some point, though. They are in my mind the serious guy's watch choice.

I have a few German watches over the years too, but didn't venture far away from the mainstream brands.

Singling out just one is dangerous but the ALS Moonphase with blue strap elicited a "wow" from me Here is my sole contribution to this thread. GO LunarInverse. It was love at first sight with this one. Thanks for starting up this topic. M4 ...

Yes,Lange is much more hand finishing than GO. Although technically GO's movements are impressive! Dornblüth makes beautiful watches but it is hard to do better than Lange on movement finishing.

I also have a preference for German watches and their aesthetic (in a general sense because as your collection shows, there’s a lot of variety). German watchmaking is actually what got me into this hobby!

I am also really glad that there are more high-high horology brands now other than ALS like Moritz Grossmann and the new duo Kallinich Claeys. And as someone mentioned below, I love what Kudoke is doing too. I also count Habring2. They’re in Austria but f... 

And a great collection of German watches 😊👍🏻 You asked about others. There are a handful that have made it into the thread already, such as Kudoke. There is Hentschel, too - the brand that brought us out P20 😉… If you are looking at former Western Germany...  

I missed unfortunately the WPS 20 édition 😪. As for Junghans, many of their current offerings are penalized IMO by a very unattractive date placement (small movement syndrom) 🤔. I have however a quartz alarm clock from Junghans since more than 30 years ..... 

There are some handwound Max Bills without a date - probably the ones to have. And I guess an in house movement is not on the cards for the moment 🤷🏻‍♂️

Having been born in Germany and been exposed to their perfectionism, I completely understand your choices. I really admire your focus in collecting . Have to say, I have me considering trading a few watches for that new GO, it presents such value and beau... 

With the exception of Lange,all these brands represent strong value for the money ...and you do not see them on all wrists 🙃😉
