I admire simplicity and purity and this watch has those two qualities.
There's nothing to distract the eye, except the time and the small running seconds.
Yes, the deep blue dial is just amazing.
On the inside, the JLC automatic caliber 896/1 assures resistance and accuracy.
Notice that JLC didn't wrote "Automatic" on the dial, avoiding redundancy.

Even in B&W, without the bluish to distract, it's beautiful.
Years back, I could consider it "an old man watch", but what I can do? I'm old and I love it.

More text on dials rarely adds to a watch in my opinion (unless you are talking Rolex and price...).

Very nice and pure watch
Is it the same dark blue between the main dial and the sub second one? This last one seems to be darker but maybe it’s just an optical illusion. Best wishes Alkiro
