As an example,
my mother always told me she thought of 'male' watch designs far more favorably than the ones which are generally intended for the female market. She would much rather wear a classical 'men's' watch as opposed to the mostly obnoxiously designed 'women's' ...

Hello Filipe, I prefer this to the 'gents' watch as I like the positioning of the date. With 16.5cm wrists this is also one I have considered in the past. It looks good.

didn’t get sidetracked by inconsequential labels. And by the way historically 35mm was not only considered a men’s watch it was often referred to as being a large men’s watch. Eg the classic men’s Calatrava Ref 96 was only 31mm. The “large” version Ref 57...
