I fell in love with this watch. Bang!! I did not want to. I fought back. I mentally have said goodbye to Patek. For various reasons. I especially don’t like the hype surrounding Patek. The many "fans" outside of our circle of friends here who just care ab...

Normally i do ignore watches which for some reasons are for my reasons not a chance i want one. For you i make an exception, because you wrote in emotion. I am happy for you you get it on an unusual way and with much luck. Simply a brand is a brand, some ... 

I really appreciate your posts in general because they are always honest, straight forward and with a clear attitude. I can 100% subscribe to everything you write. In and of itself I am a very rational person and spending so much money is definitely not e... 

Is it rational or emotion? Sames as you, emotional. That’s why there is no border of spending. Every coin can come back. But selling is a no go for me. To much nice memories.

Still I have to confess there a 2-3 watches that leave me … lukewarm. But these are not the ones I REALLY fell in love when buying them. That's one of the reasons I've become very selective in the meantime. A watch has to speak to me 100%. Otherwise I won...

a 16,5 - 17 cm wrist. Depending on the temperature. And of course my weight. Hahahahaha So 40,8mm are quite perfect. ☺️

Rose gold aquanauts are stunning!

I had the chance to compare the 5164A in stainless steel with my 5164R in Rose Gold. Tastes differ and there is no right or wrong. But for me it was clearly the RG version without any doubt.

Remember that line from The Godfathers III movie? Congrats on the new watch. Admittedly, if I had been presented with a cool watch from any brand, I might have a moment of weakness. I don't own a Rolex Daytona... If I got offered one... Specifically if it...

Big congrats to this really, really magnificent Patek! It looks great on your wrist. Patek's design is mostly über-elegant, fine and lovely and this one teils that story. This is a great travel companion and you picked the better version in rose gold!
