I happened to see one for sale (with an Archive Extract), and wonder just how rarely PP produced automatics without second hand functions? Presumably it was to satisfy the classic, minimalist tastes of some of their customers. Can anyone shed some light o... 

Hi Tony, personally I don't know of any original 3425 without small seconds - although that alone doesn't mean very much ;-) The extract can be ordered by case and movement number and most likely doesn't specify this detail - so that's no proof of origina...

No. It only mention dial is “3425”. I asked PP service center to consult with their Geneva Headquaters why there is only 2 hands. They think it’s possible but they can’t mention on the archive.
