Did you have any hesitation about the slim case or was that a major attraction? While fantastic on the wrist, and the slimness of the case enhances this, I can never get my head past the visual my mind has for RM which is the thicker RM 05, 10, 29, 35 etc...
I had an rm 029. Traded it for 2 Pateks . No problem. I like all my watches, past and present. But, if I’m lucky enough to get another rm, it will be the one you have. Thin design is awesome. Best with your new piece .

At the time of delivery I did not really look at other straps, as I was blinded by the watch itself, but at my next return to the shop I will look at some more options. It does seem that changing the strap on your own is maybe not the best way forward.
