back in 2009, this Green Submariner was intended to be my first beautiful watch.
A friend strongly advised against buying a Rolex and introduced me to JLC. I do not blame him because I used to have JLC that I loved, but deep inside me I always regretted not having bought this watch.
Later on I bought a 116610LV but it not the same.
Anyway, I can't wait to see the other posts, but as a teaser, and if you allow me to ask for a sneak peak.... I do not see nowadays within Rolex new variations of dials, where will come the next specificities attracting collectors? Regarding the dial, and for my understanding, Rolex is trying to make them each watch exactly the same as the previous and next one and that now, and in 20 years... patina belongs to the past
Maybe, new movement into a discontinued model... columbine***? very short production like the Sea-dweller?
thank u again
*** french name for 16710 with 3186 movement. I do not know where this name comes from
