Rolex

Not important, I guess, but...

After all we are not wearing boxes and papers on our wrists. So not vital at all.

Getting a full set gives however a particular satisfaction, most of the times that illusion of being the first time owner of the watch. In fact I would think that any information, that can be provided by B&P, service paers, letters etc. can only contribute to and enhance the appreciation of our watches. Unlike some other brands (Longines, Patek, Omega, Longines, JLC, Zenith come to mind) Rolex does not provide extracts of archives and other service autentification. The garantee papers are therefore particularly valuable in that they are the only way to get information on the date and place of purchase as well as the first seller and owner of the watch. As said, I think those are all valuable information, that can enhance my knowledge and appreciation of the watch, as well as possibly adding commercial value to the watch.
Thanks for yet another nice article, Baron.
