Shoes for the winter?
Hi GEO,
I do not dislike your shoes and all those proposed by other forumners - but are these really fulfilling the needs of the winter season?
Or do you live on the southern hemisphere and your "winter" actually means "summer"?
Those refined, valuable leather shoes may fit in well heated, covered places like offices, restaurants and living rooms - but shoes for the winter?
This is what I - in my part of the world - would fancy when talking about winter shoes:

but I do like your John Lobbs a lot. I general I like the way Santoni shoes are made, just find the noses too narrow at the moment. I rather have a more classic nose, bit rounder. Thanks for the pics, your collection looks very good. GEO

You're absolutely right
Our winters are so mild. These shoes are not made for ice and snow like we know from Canada. I live most of the time in the south part of Europe, where it never really gets that cold. GEO
