The hotel (a Holiday Inn)...
...was directly across the street from a performing arts center. I met an amazing array of people while working there in the late '70s/early '80s...Everly Brothers, Mel Blanc, The Tubes, Huey Lewis, Joe DiMaggio, Bo Diddley, BB King, etc. And almost all of them were very nice people one-on-one. The Everly Brothers would hang out in the bar and sing along with people just there to have a drink : )
