What a coincidence
Several decades ago, perhaps '83 or '84, I was seated next Victor Gauntlett, who was then one of the owners of Aston Martin, on a Concorde flight from New York. A fine, civilized gentleman, he didn't blink an eye at being seated next to a crass young fellow (me) wearing shorts with a heavily bandaged leg and hand. Certainly, I didn't like where the company was going under his leadership, but, a fine gentleman, nonetheless.
Those were the days
When just seeing an Aston as a kid was an event. Now high end cars seem to be everywhere. Some magic has been lost (or maybe I just grew up) I still remember seeing a PoW Vantage in Green Park when I was 9 yrs old
