Hi Baron,
very tough call this time.....the wrist shots of sentimental pieces,sentimental for whatever reason,are tough to judge.
I must say that my honorable mentions are for 3 watch lovers,3 beautiful people I had the luck to meet ,3 people who mean what they say and wear it on their.....wrists....

Blomman unconditional love for all JLC things and his great ws on the Deep Sea Usa ,
Marcus Hanke unconditional love for Ulysse Nardin and his dusty Marine Diver shot,
AndrewD and his impeccable taste with his beloved Juorne TS.
3 GREAT EXAMPLES of love towards a certain brand/watch that has been reiterated many times here,that means real love,true survivors,quite in theme with this week WristScan.


WINNER though must be Tim Jackson s UN Blue Surf....the last picture of his beautiful historiated entry post,scarred with unconditional love,given to him by a huge dose of family love.....all great ingredients that make this watch a king in survivors watches....
His last Wrist shot is also a great picture,clear,crisp,oozing sentimental value ...a true keeper....

Life has it's twists and turns, and through out it there are a few constants, anchor points if you will, that keep one focused on what is truly important and what is less so.

I have been fortunate to create some great things in my life, these two young ladies are a huge part of that. I'm a proud Dad!
This Blue Surf represents so much.

Dear Joe,

judging the watch of the week is difficult this time; many nice watches. My favourite, the Patek pocket watch, is not permitted, due to the rule to exclude heirloom pieces. I especially like pplater's Simplicity, and Ken's stunning Lange 1 Moon. However, due to the specific topic given by Damjan, I decided to opt for the best story behind the watch instead.

Here, there are two clear winners:

CaliforniaJed's Panerai: I love the marriage picture, and how the happy broom managed to kiss his beautifuly bride, while at the same time sliding up the cuff in order to permit an unbstructed view onto his Panerai - great body control!!

Tim Jackson's UN: One simply HAS to love the story of Tim's "Blue Surf", together with the pictures of his happy daughters.

An honorary mention is due for sanro's survival picture, even if no watch is involved. I feel with him!

Marcus, had I been a judge I would have gone with the Incursore.  It was a great photo, and that's a watch I have always admired for its boldness, in much the same way I was drawn to Panerai when I first became aware.

When we first met back in 2009, you were real. Since then we've got to know each other a little more, and I know I'm better off for knowing you. Love your story about the watch and the wedding day excitement! Cheers to you my friend!
