In addition to the enamel work, the Clous de Paris bezel makes this reference special IMO.
A few days ago, I read up on the most colorful cities in the world and the Italian one that inspired this motif was featured in number 11 of the article.
Questions: Did Patek confirm the Boccadesse location instead of Cinque Terre for the motif ? To a non-Italian like me (although I love Italian cuisine, wine🍷, etc.), the two scenes look the same to me ! LOL !! 🤣
Yep, when I told Patek they obviously agreed the location is Boccadasse (they are similar, but if you look closely you'll find at least 1500 differences..;-)

The point is that the name "Cinque Terre" is famous worldwide, so it makes more sense to use it for the broader area...I know Boccadasse because I'm from there, but hardly many people outside of Italy have even heard the name
