it is a valid point...
...but i easily fall out with watches. on the plus side the 5935A is a steel patek with a serious complication. there are not many of those in the current catalogue outside the naut-aqua range. the two other ones (5212A, 5905 1A) have (even) much less appeal to me.
Patek stamps dials now?!? For god sake bring back the old man...
...or better still someone who truly understands what PP **should be** in quality and design. Time for new leadership imho.

...here we have a steel WT-chrono with stamped dial that should look like hand-guilloche and old caliber for 60K euros. obvious design issues included in the package. man....this is getting crazy. i'd love to know how many of those they have sold. 100? i think fewer...
Sales numbers does not matter, NONE... PP is devalued as a brand nowadays imho and continues in their downward trajectory. It truly is saddening and maddening.
Plus no one believes the 1960's 'Holy Trinity' marketing efforts has any meaning 60 years later in 2024, as so many better products are now available. Hopefully Patek Philippe offers their new Connoisseur Series soon. It's what PP should be and evolved into after dad left and competition got stronger, and Connoisseur is what PP useta be considered. Heard the new series might even be somewhat competitive with RR to some extent. What do you think of that?

It would include cutting overall output by 50% for typical mass-produced models, and reallocation of the other 50% to produce at most 25% (four times the number of craftsmanship hours). i'd prefer 10% output of the 50% 'remainder' versus 25% allocation as compared to today.
Plus enamel dial timepieces will all have specially crafted movements / decoration that mates the dial / series theme, not just an off-the-shelf PP movement as they do today.
Imho PP needs a true visionary with passion, not a family businessman hand-me-down.

Please understand my friend, it is said out of compassion and love.
PP could truly be more imho, yet when I see so many others far exceeding in various ways. Tho with sales so strong, why change anything? No need to try something truly extra-ordinary.
