I recall hearing about them starting on the Kickstarter platform. Nice to see a company actually deliver a finished product coming from that background.
Anecdotally, I think they must be doing something right as I received a call from my father-in-law a few nights ago. Apparently he has seen an ad from them and has decided he wants one of their watches for his upcoming 65th birthday - I guess my offer of a vintage from his birth year didn't resonate quite as well as Code 41 haha

Those numerals remind me strongly of the 5170 or 5370p - and the needle hands.. wonderful! Looks like a very nicely sized case as well, colour me intrigued.
As much as i agree with the tradition of a gold or otherwise sentimental piece, if he eschews a vintage or independent I can't argue. He teased me a bit over my purchasing a Daytona when my son was born earlier this year, so he is a tough customer to please.

figure a lot of Kickstarter watches make their cases in China like this one, although this looks very well CNC machined; although would have still preferred Swiss or German made case [nt]
