Fun watches, what’s your take?
While we all wax lyrical about finishing, complications and the like, sometimes a low end, ‘fun’ watch is, well, fun.
Here’s a recent example - mechanical, whimsical and putting a smile on my face (and snatched away first by my wife and subsequently my daughter, who seems to ge the new owner now 🤷🏻♂️😂).

Pretty inexpensive but well made watches and giving me a lot of wearing pleasure.

See some other fun watches in this topic, while my mind says Bulova, Bulova, and Bulova. That is fun and also fan in my case.
Guess what? I change my Revue Thommen that i wear 5 days a week, for my Bulova.
This year is really Bulova for me, and i am still wondering how it started and why i went crazy for the brand. Costs peanuts, gets plenty of history, tech and fun.
Whats next year?
It’s difficult to step away from Bulova. Almost un possibile.
This year they lighted up the empire state building, and it screams for again a Bulova.
The honeymoon still hit me high, to end this post i want do it in style,
It is not just a timepease, it is a conversation peace.

It’s a variation of the Bell & Ross BR 03-92 FULL LUM
The most luminous watch I have experienced.
Other luminous dial watches like the FP Journe Elegante, Heuer night diver, etc. do not offer this wild effect because with this watch the special luminous rubber strap also emits a strong glow. The rubber strap is more luminous than other glowing straps like the canvas lume strap on the Zenith Poker Chip.
Total lume overkill!
