The road trip well and truly over (unfortunately - although I see signs of ageing in the driver, getting somewhat weary after 5 days) it’s back to the office grind.
The Chopard LUC 8HF on wrist duty today and it’s always a joy to wear. And makes a sound unlike any other watch with it’s hi-beat 8Hz movement 🎼

Switched back to the Tonda PF Minute Rattrapante after a week of wearing the neo-vintage Toric Automatic . . . .

I have to admit I am too lazy to change straps all the time, especially here (non quick change one). 😉
Very appropriate strap for these cold days: it brings a nice warmth.
And perfect watch to keep the pace at work ! Seiko to keep it up for me (even if 5 Hz only 😅).

Yes, every 3 years, although thankfully they now expanded it to 5 years.

Is it just an up to date picture or do you need a health check every time?
Mostly just a money grab, KMII…
And to verify your information, as you are given the choice to keep using your previous photo, or have a new one taken. And no health check is required, but maybe they conduct them for people of older age? No clue, but can fill you in as time passes.
`We are lucky to have a license for life, if you don't get it canceled or suspended, in France.
Here it only starts when you turn 80…
Prior to that, unless you use up all the points (seemingly like in most European countries), there’s no need to renew 😊
