Naturally I went as myself and declined offers to play blackjack or roulette. Now, if they had a snooker table . . .

1) what did you think of the ploprof in person? our little boutique in scottsdale has yet to get one -- a "C" boutique, and it often does not get models, especially the pricey ones, unless someone has prepaid bought/ordered one and you are lucky enough to ask to see it from the safe before the owner has picked it up...
2) i loved the bronze gold 359 when i saw it at an AD, surprisingly. i wish it had a better caseback rather than one advertising the paris olympics. yes, i know it was an olympic model...
3) sidebar bonus questions: what is your favorite modern omega in the last 15 years, even if no longer in production? and what is your all time favorite omega a) ever b) that you own?

Favorably impressed by the blue Ploprof; unfortunately there wasn't time . . .
. . . to try it on. Another dive watch would be superfluous for my collection, so no thought of getting another except maybe for a vintage Super Kontiki. Also liked the 9 kt 859, but my collection is replete with vintage gold Omegas, so not compelling enough to consider.

that bronze/gold annual calender is very nice, but how compact is compact? 39, 41 or 42 mm case?
besides my father's omega constellations (mechanical from late 50's steel/gold and quartz from 80's also steel gold, which i do not wear but are sentimentally meaningful to me, I only have a 2014 steel seamaster master coaxial, the original master coaxial (after the bumblebee aquaterra), with ceramic liquid metal bezel, no longer in production. i still love it. i am still waiting to find the perfect second omega for me...
The compact AT annuals are 38.5 mm if memory serves . . .
