It’s quite a show piece. It replaced his Grande Sonnerie which was also an impressive piece. This is FPJ take on a multiple complication which is something he actually dislikes, because multiple complications will compromise the Chronometric performance. His outset was to prove that he could make such a watch and still achieve great Chronometric performance. This is achieved by help from the Remontoir degalite.

I know this is going to sound weird but as I look at the bottom of the dial, where the seconds wheel sits opposite the moon phase; and the PR hand is smack in the middle pointing down to the PR scale,
