Patek Philippe: Hats

Actually my AD has been great for gifts. Hats, wallets, ties, bags, pens etc. it’s been easier to get that stuff than some of the watches. And it’s a good idea to share some of my journey, So I will do that in a separate post.

Patek Philippe: Incoming grail. 5726.

After almost 7 years on the list and way more purchases than my better half expected, I finally got the watch I have lusted after for such a long time. It’s everything I expected and then some. The journey to this day has, at times, been frustrating but looking back kind of wonderful. I expected to

Patek Philippe: Not sure

a couple of months ago i picked up the skydweller. Absolutely love it. Fast becoming my daily wearer. Kind of liking the look of the new AP ROO. But otherwise I am not seeing anything that really keeps me awake at night at the moment.

Patek Philippe: Thanks

while i really do love the aquanaut - i have never used the chrono. The Nautilus really is a grail piece for me. So, provided the price is right I am leaning towards offloading the 5968 and the 5212 and picking up the 5726. That would leave me with the 5524G, 5146G Tiffany stamped dial and the 5726.

Patek Philippe: Funny

the reason i bought the 5212 was because i thought that it would be a good everyday piece. Never worked out that way as it never really sung to me. I have always preferred my 5146 over the 5212. For the Nautilus, that blue is amazing and has been one of my grails for a good few years.

Patek Philippe: I don’t really

wear the aquanaut as a daily, maybe once per week. The 5212 is a no brainer to offload for me. Although a fantastic dial, I have never really enjoyed it. So have only worn it for a full day once in two years. Like the suggestion of a side by side with the Nautilus. Will let you know what I do. Thank

Patek Philippe: 5968G vs 5726?? Thoughts please

my wonderful AD has offered me the blue dial 5726. Thinking about thinning out my collection and am considering offloading my 5212 and 5968 - my question is would you have the 5968 over the 5726 or vice versa and why?

Patek Philippe: Totally agree

love my 5968G. Really nice weight to it, dresses up and down. Sometimes I catch myself just staring at its beauty . Love yours too. Enjoy and wear in the best of health.

Patek Philippe: Absolutely

wear it as a daily. Dresses up and down. I had a problem with one of the pushers, but otherwise it’s probably the one i wear the most. Why buy it and then leave it in a safe. Wear in good health.
