Rolex: A pictorial comparison between the new 36mm Explorer a 36mm Oyster Perpetual
Well I managed to get a 36mm Explorer … what’s struck me was the difference in proportions between my wife’s 36mm Oyster Perpetual from the new cased Explorer. I will try to address the new 36mm size in a later post.

Rolex: Yes … my wife’s op feels larger and seems to be based on my calipers measurements. I can understand why the lug width has shrunken … makes feel broader and beefier.

Rolex: Just got mine too… smaller than initial expectations … especially as my wife wears the 36mm OP
But I still love it and it was one watch that got me started into my horological journey 25 years ago
