Horological Meandering: Thank you. The symmetry of this movement, designed for its purpose and aesthetic first, is for me ideal—exactly what I wanted in an open-work or skeleton watch.

I am a fan of many of the watches from Armin and Strom, too. Particularly of some of the Gravity Constant Force references.

Horological Meandering: Sunday errands with Arnold & Son Nebula

Picked this wonderful watch up new from the AD two weeks ago. I blame Nicolas’ old posts for raising my awareness.

Horological Meandering: Got the blue Nebula

this afternoon. Here are a couple of not-so-great iPhone-pics of this cool watch. Only had it a few hours, but all seems good. Perhaps a review after I get to know it better.

Horological Meandering: Great one, Jari.

I really like many of the 40th anniversary G-Shocks, especially the lava editions with that glow-in-the-dark bezel. I need to get one to go with my much loved Poison Dart Frog[man].

Independents: I would feel cheated by the brand.

LF watches certainly are good looking. But, your experience is more than enough to keep me away. When the price says exceptional quality, that is what the buyer should get. And these issues seem to be more than one-off or excusable mistakes.

TimeOut: Get them

I have had the Persol Steve McQueens in black for a few years. They're excellent sunglasses that I wear often.
