Lefty chrono Honestly , as a right hander, I think having the pushers on the left side of the case make more sense and is easier. The winding crown on right is easier.

Yes I love destros too… but with this complicated dial; the Movement feels like a recycling than purpose built

Discontinuation of 5711… Followed by the introduction of 5811… It’s a familiar playbook used by other brands but rather unexpected from Patek. I have mixed feeling about this.

Can’t say we didn’t see this coming… After all Mr Thierry Stern mentioned the following in an interview last year to explain the discontinuation of 5711: “I don’t want us to have more than a third steel watches. The steel Nautilus makes up a big part of that quota, and I don’t like that” ...

Do you expect that a replacement steel version (time +date only) is forthcoming in future based on Patek’s pattern of releases? I’m confused now by Stern’s discontinuation…did he mean the steel version or time/date version? Well, can’t be time/date given this new 5811.
