The naughty RM69 "Erotic Tourbillon" is the watch you were waiting for

Richard Mille has just unveiled a new unusual reference: the RM69 Erotic Tourbillon.
First, you think that the "69" (and not "069" as RM's references use to be writen) is a coincidence, but it is not!
The new RM 69 is a 30 pieces limited edition (50x42.7x16mm), available in Richard Mille boutiques only and is the most "sensual" in the spirit.
From Richard Mille, this is a watch all about love and erotism. I guess the end of summer is the right time to remember your "hot holidays" nights!
Behind this appealing theme, there is, as often with Richard Mille, a very complex mechanism showing that the brand can have fun but will always do so while remaining very professional and impressive when dealing with complications.
The unusual complication of this model is called the Oracle: it was made with Renaud & Papi and is reminiscent of a Tibetan prayer wheel allowing random statements to be displayed thanks to the rotation of three rollers, forming here a subject-verb-complement "evocative" sentence.
As often, the baseplate and bridges are in Titanium.
Technically, near the tourbillon at 6 o'clock, you can see the power reserve gauge powered by a planetary differential.
The tourbillon by the way and the hour display had to be put quite low in the dial to keep the rollers visible. The spring barrel is, in that matter, placed just behind the tourbillon (yes, I told you it was "naugthy"), on the same axle. It is called Duoplan and allows to integrating bigger complications as it leaves more room in the case.
To ease the reading, a button at 8 o'clock retracts the hands for a while. You'll notice a new pusher design as well.
Of course, due to its lightness and shocks resistance, the watch can be worn when doing "the thing" with your partner. You know that Richard Mille likes when clients are able to wear their watches during "sports".
Happy owners: as it is 50 meters water resistant, you can even "experience" it into the sea or a pool.
The movement is a 69 hours power reserve by the way (yes, the pleasure is into the details...)
If you feel a little "turned on" after discovering the watch in this post, I think it is deliberate from Richard Mille (I'm talking about the horological content of course).
I imagine that, as usual, RM's team will be interested in having owners feedback in order to improve performance (of the watch, not the wearer).
A little fun when doing very serious work is always nice, don't you think?

for a certain crowd it strikes me as rather crass and vulgar. not so much for the sentiment, but it just seems to exploit the fact that RM cost so much and can therefore get whatever it wants no matter how brainless. it's kind of arrogant on the atelier's part, in my view......
