A Rolex (crown) for Crown Comfort?
Exactly the look on my face.
But that Baron guy is dangerous.
But he is damn right. It kinda suits me, no?
But let’s go back to the beginning. When it comes to watches, I have a somewhat “special” taste and a “special” approach.
I don’t go mainstream, I want something not everyone has. And when I find something I like, I go all-in and deep. That’s how I ended up with a sizeable collection of Girard-Perregaux watches.
If there was one brand that was stereotypical of “mainstream” then it has to be Rolex, and the Submariner is likely the most recognizable of them all.
On the other hand, I kind of like the fact that there is something special 99.9% never heard of and the another 0.1% need to look real close to see it.
The Long Good F(riday) 14060M.
It was still a difficult decision process…should I, no?, yes?...
But then, who cares what others think. I think it’s a classic Diver watch with great vintage roots, a tool watch and with an almost hidden little secret, the Long Good F.
Love is all around!
Thanks Baron for pointing my nose to it.
