Here are live pictures of the new ROLEX Yachmaster and DAY DATE watches with the new ROLEX automatic movement.
I am a cynical convert to Rolex at this Baselworld 2015 show. Yes...you read it here first.
I held them in my hands and cuddled them and kissed them....good materials, good design, good finishing and of course, I repeat, the gamechanging new movement. It is a pity that everyone is obsessed by the Apple and Google watches not to notice what just happened at Rolex......
When you are the market leader and innovate with a game-changer movement ref 3255 giving 70 Hours power reserve and precision rate of -0.2 s to +2.0 s /Day, YES read that again!.....you become even more dominating. Bravo!
From me...that is stunning accolade.
More later but for now, please admire the syntherubber strap with Ti alloy stiffeners and comfort ridges for 5-year strap life for the new Yachtmasters and bigger case for the Day Date. The ceramic inserts for the new Presidnt bracelet also will be discussed later.

-0, 2 to 2 secs per day for the Cal 3255? Wow! I agree with you on Rolex that year. Nothing spectacular on the visible side, but the invisible side is very important, and this new movement has to be mentionned. That is very Purist! ;) Best, Nicolas

Even the outside of new Rolex is good ...the feel of the new rubber strap is great. The bezels are nice to touch. The legibility is better. The deployant clasp does not hurt to wear.....at last! The watch case balance is the Rolls Royce iteration of the description: "adequate"... Regards, MTF...

One thing I want to see in the real is the feeling of the Cerachrom bezel on the YM. Very intriguing. As well as the texture of the dial. Best, Nicolas.

I asked why the ladies' YM but NOT the gents' get 3255 movement They said that they would get back to me for the reason. I have to contact the PR department after Baselworld show when they know. It was strange that a Professional series of watch reference woul omit the new movement from the better selling gents' model...

stunning !! The Yachtmaster is simply stunning -- a must have for every rolex fan ! Not entirely sure about the new dial in the platinum 40mm day date but they might add other dials in the future. Rolex is a clear winner in basel this year.
