What happens when you love a watch... but you want to love it even more!

andrewluff
The P15 Cronometro will always have a place in my heart, it is a very special watch made just for our PuristS family.  I remember the day I asked JCB if we could make a Zenith 15th Anniversary watch and the subsequent email to everyone at the manufacture with the normal larger than life answer - YES!!!  Following this, the time spent back and forth with my partner in crime for the project and the Zenith Guru... aka Magnus... then our small committee trying to bounce ideas between each other to get the... no OUR... PuristS watch!   I have really worn this watch since Basel and it has travelled around the world from beach to bush to numerous cities in between.

However for me... I always had an idea in my head... something that was both the PuristS Cronometro but that also was my watch.

Two months ago, I collected it from Le Locle and my PuristS Cronometro was born none

none  none
none  none

and of course... there was something special on the back

none

I must admit I enjoyed it before... but I must also say that I have worn it even more since!

none  none
none  none

and now it really feels like my watch and takes pride of place in the special orange box none

none

Now just waiting for a new strap....

Cheers
Andrew

Cool color combo. Definitely adds some "spice" to the dial.

Awesome :D and beautiful touch of class for you :) hmmmm can we ask the masters at Le Locle for a stainless steel bracelet for the rest of us mere P15 folk hehehe :D  I'm serious, with the horrible weather we get in Canada this time of year that's creeping upon us soon, I need some stainless steel....turn the Cronometro into Snownometro

When Zenith presented the Defy El Primero 21 at BaselWorld 2017, not only did it show a new watch to the public, the brand gave more than a hint about how it sees her own future: as a performance-focussed manufacture, a trendsetter in novel materials, while at the same time emphasising robustness and simplification. PuristSPro sat down with LVMH's resident scientist Guy Semon to discuss details! It follows quite logically from the above, that I will cover the design, but more so even the technology with a ... .
