Each time with a different friend.
Here with my Spanish friend:
Here we have two TR 900, A Milspec UDT, another Military Milspec( with the craze on the plexy ), one AM, a Pakistani Milspec, a Bronze, and a very special Rotomatic Incabloc. among other things...
And now, with another friend of mine.
Two Bronze, two TR 900, one AM, a French Navy Rotomatic Incabloc, the Pakistani Milspec, my good old Milspec, and a quite rare Lip Blancpain.
The common point with these two GTGs? Finding a correct vintage Fifty Fathoms in good condition is not easy, but here, you have the Creme de la Creme, with some uber rare specimens, such as the Bronze, the Pakistani, the UDT, the Tornek, of course, and the AM.
The funny coincidence is that we had " only " 9 vintage Fifty Fathoms, in these two GTG. Which gave me an idea... What about organizing a mega GTG, with several vintage Fifty Fathoms collectors? I am pretty sure we'll have around 40 pieces, which would be quite unique. I know, I know, you would tell me that the Fifty Fathoms exhibition in 2011 gathered much more pieces, and you will be right, but it would be exciting to see how it goes.
I will think of that this year.
Best,
Nicolas
