It took a little over four months, but it returned good as new.
I gifted this to my brother more than a decade ago, but now I have second thoughts;-))))
The case has been brought back to the original luster, so extremely happy with the outcome...

Richemont is very good at getting the cases like new without dulling the edges. They do use laser welding (not sure that is applicable to all metals)
