I am not a big fan of the Lumen, at the exception of two watches, the Datograph Lumen, which I find really magnificent, and this Grande Lange One Moon Phase Lumen, which is very romantic.

The idea of making a luminous moon phase is really and and great, in my opinion.

Still, I would have preferred a non luminous date, just to focus on the moon phase.

I love the Lange 1, obviously a cult classic...

I have never seen these lumen models in the flesh. I was rather impressed by the Lange 1 Grande MoonPhase, was seriously on my grail list but I put something before it which I will show you soon enough, silly COVID put my plans back a couple of months. As I see the Lange 1 as a dress watch, I may have some reservations of the "sportiness" of the lume focus. But I don't know, never seen it live, may love it, may sell my soul for it. Would love a test model!!!!

You have to see it in the flesh, indeed. You are right, the Lange One, moon phase or not, is a very elegant watch, and the luminous versions may add some odd coolness. But it works, in my opinion. [nt]

It is an interesting watch but not a favorite of mine.

The Lumen concept works for me best with the more technical Datograph. I am of course biased owning the PT version of the Grand Lange 1 moonphase ….

I also love the Grand Lange 1 Moonphase Lumen and the Datograph Lumen (haven‘t seen the Dato in the flesh, though). However, for the prices these fetch, I‘d rather get something else. [nt]
