Morning shot, wet but warm (or at least relatively so for the winter).   

I’m thinking I need something lighter (strap) for this watch.  The strap currently mounted is actually grey, but can appear much darker in certain light.  Time for a visit to Jean Rousseau I think.

In the first instance it was (is) an astronomically expensive watch by any standards. (Unless of course you are comparing it to the price of a steel sports watch theses days). Second, it wasn’t until more recently that I began to appreciate a dial like this. I think I posted before my general dislike for romans and the fact that I now own a couple of watches with romans.
