I won’t attempt to write a soliloquy since many have written about this piece. I will be brief and succinct. This piece looks better in person than in photos! I liked the feel on the wrist, the hue of the blue dial and the legibility of the day and date. I don’t like the bracelet as many have shared. The AD was well aware of the commentary around the bracelet and did their best to explain. All that said, I like the piece, but not enough to purchase it. It just doesn’t “move” me.

There are other owners who tried different straps and that helps me prefer this original look.

When it comes to the bracelet, my opinion (for whatever that is worth) is that fine, mechanical watches should have leather strap.

Do you feel it wears too big?

The hour pusher is a welcome addition, it felt great on the wrist when I tried it, and it didn't wear too big on my small wrist. Lange did well with that watch.

is put a center seconds sweep hand on. A sports watch needs better seconds legibility and timing. The subsidiary seconds dial is more for a dress watch. I would have deleted the day display entirely and simply put the big date window at say 6 as 3 is so typical and quite boring on the other brands. I have no issues with the bracelet if it molds to the wrist and is precisely adjustable to fit odd wrist sizes which I seem to have. Finally, blue dials are the current fad but in my view way overdone
