New York, NY (June 10, 2012) – Audemars Piguet, the luxury watchmaker, hosted the 2013 Tony Awards Audemars Piguet Green Room backstage at the 67^th Annual Tony Awards.   The 2013 Tony Awards, were presented by the American Theatre Wing and The Broadway League, and broadcasted live from Radio City Music Hall on Sunday, June 9^th on CBS.

2013 Tony Awards were broadcast LIVE on CBS, Sunday, June 9^th

Audemars Piguet (www.audemarspiguet.com) returned for a third year as the title sponsor of the Green Room.  Audemars Piguet customized a private retreat backstage at Radio City Music Hall for presenters and nominees to enjoy during the show.  The space featured four vitrines, highlighting 12 Audemars Piguet watches.   To celebrate the Tony Awards, Audemars Piguet made a donation of $30,000 to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS on behalf of the Tony Award presenters who agreed to have Audemars Piguet and the Tony's tweet a photo (@TonyGreenRoom) of them signing the Audemars Piguet clock. This Audemars Piguet Tony Awards Clock will be auctioned off after the show to help raise funds for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.  Celebrities who graciously provided their signature while visiting the Green Room included:

In support of their presenting red carpet sponsorship, Audemars Piguet once again teamed up with Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS to create a unique auction of Audemars Piguet wall clocks.  The eight one-of-a-kind aluminum wall clocks were displayed along the red carpet and decorated by the nominees for Best Musical and Best Musical Revival (Bring It On: The Musical, A Christmas StoryThe Musical, Kinky Boots, Matilda The Musical, Annie, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Pippin, Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella) to represent each one of this season's musicals.  A ninth clock was signed by nominated actors attending last month's Meet the Nominees reception.  The auction opens from June 10th^th through June 24^th on leading charity auction site www.charitybuzz.com.
