Hi,

I recently developped a thing for rectangular watches. Especially those from Cartier CPCP era.

I started with the lovely Tank Basculante.

And last week, after a long lusting on the Tortue Monopoussoir (yet not rectangular), I came accross something new to me.

In a heartbeat, it was mine and I'm very please i did it smile

This is one of the 50 Tank Louis Cartier made in platinum between 2006 and 2008.
And probably one of the few rectangular Cartier with also a rectangular caliber, with an exhibit caseback.

Thanks for sharing information on these beautiful Cartier CPCP here. I think they deserve more attention.

It measures 30 x 39,2. This is more manly than the Basculante but still elegant on my 6,7 inches wrist. I wouldn't like it bigger - and I also have 47mm Panerai

I had the chance to own a rare Cartier Tank Basculante in steel made specifically for the French market with a see through back. I don\'t know if yours has this specificity but it was a subtle detail I really loved with mine. Below a very bad shot (sorry!) of it Best wishes Alkiro
