DonCorson provides an exclusive look at the Christophe Claret DualTow, a groundbreaking timepiece that integrates a tourbillon planetary gear chronograph with unique rubber belt hour and minute indications. This post offers a rare glimpse into the final cased product, following an earlier visit to Claret's 'Soleil d'Or' atelier, highlighting the brand's innovative spirit and technical mastery.

Certainly the watch is a beautiful, unique piece of kinetic art, even if it's not my style ultimately. Very impressive display though, both front and back. Thank you for sharing the finished piece with us. Cheers, Daos
for such a beautiful pictures report
Impressive technology, and OK-lookign for that kind of watch, but it looks humungous even by standards! nick
[Reposted from the "blog" entry, since I didn't mean to post it there in the first place] I find the mechanism facinating, clearly a demonstration of their mastery of watchmaking in several forms at once. The chronograph is a most unusual design, I could see using that idea, where each hand of the chronograph has a separate set of control levers from the column-wheel, giving a designer great freedom in laying out a chronograph. On the other hand I find it aesthetically displeasing (ugly), clunky
Its a great looking watch, but a bit big for my wrist . And what a brilliant looking movement.
Love the WG one with blue details. A stunning mechanical piece. Vte
