Have been thinking of it for a while and the launch of SpaceOne watches gave the opportunity to choose his birthday matching case number.

Theo Auffret designed the jumping hour and minute mechanism on this movement…

The timepiece has a PR of 38 hours, automatic movement based on off-assembled in France in the SpaceOne Atelier.

The case is made of Forged carbon, measures 51x42mm with 12mm thickness but as the profile matches one’s wrist you don’t feel the size.

So definitely you could feel the presence 😜

My son is happy to collect it direct from Theo Auffret in the SpaceOne workshop.

The timepiece isn’t leaving his wrist since yesterday & i get less chance to play with it even 😜

He still has to grow a bit for the timepiece but a good memory in place so I expect he joins our community in coming years !

I thought of sharing this wonderful moment with fellow purist friends…

I mean, I’m old enough to be his father and I kinda like the idea of a spaceship on my wrist ! Hopefully many years of happy wristing, and if you’ve truly planted the seed then I feel you now must continue to shoulder some financial responsibility for his horological adventure going forward ! 😂
